Gemeinschaftseigentum, freie Sexualität, Auflösung der Kleinfamilie, - das waren die Grundprinzipien des Friedrichshofs, der grössten Kommune in Europa, die vom Wiener Aktionisten Otto Mühl Anfang der 70er Jahre gegründet wurde.
Der Regisseur Paul-Julien Robert, der in diese Kommune hineingeboren wurde, begibt sich in „MEINE KEINE FAMILIE“ auf eine persönliche Reise in die eigene Vergangenheit. Ausgehend von Archivmaterial, das im Film erstmalig öffentlich gezeigt wird, konfrontiert der Regisseur sich selbst und seine Mutter mit der Frage: Was ist Familie?

Communal property, free sexuality, dissolution of the nuclear family – these were the basic principles of the Friedrichshof, the largest commune in Europe founded by the Viennese Actionist Otto Mühl at the beginning of the 1970’s.
In „MY FATHERS, MY MOTHER & ME“, the director Paul-Julien Robert, who was born into this commune, embarks on a personal journey into his past. Including archive material made public for the first time in this film, the director confronts himself and his mother with the question “What is family?”
