Als ein heftiger Sturm auf die Küste Floridas trifft, ignoriert Haley sämtliche Aufforderungen zur Evakuierung, um nach ihrem vermissten Vater zu suchen. Sie findet ihn von den Fluten eingeschlossen im Keller seines abgelegenen Hauses vor. Doch als die Zeit immer knapper wird, um dem Sturm zu entkommen, müssen die beiden am eigenen Leib erfahren, dass das steigende Wasser noch eine weitere, weitaus grössere Gefahr birgt… Synopsis FR
Quand un violent ouragan s’abat sur sa ville natale de Floride, Hayley (Kaya Scodelario) ignore les ordres d’évacuation pour partir à la recherche de son père porté disparu (Barry Pepper). Elle le retrouve grièvement blessé dans le sous-sol de la maison familiale et réalise qu’ils sont tous les deux menacés par une inondation progressant à une vitesse inquiétante. Alors que s’enclenche une course contre la montre pour fuir l’ouragan en marche, Haley et son père comprennent que l’inondation est loin d’être la plus terrifiante des menaces qui pèsent sur eux…
